Section VIII
It covers loss of personal baggage of the householder and that of his/her family members due to accident during any journey undertaken in India outside the city.
Section IX
It covers loss of or damage to pedal cycles due to fire & allied perils, burglary, housebreaking, theft and earthquake.
Section X
It provides for compensation towards accidental injury/death covering the householder and family members (aged between 5 to 70 years).
This section also provides for reimbursement of expenses for transportation of dead body to the residence (subject to a maximum of Rs 2,500/-) and payment of compensation of Rs 5000/- each towards educational expenses for a maximum of two dependent children up to the age of 23 years. This section also covers medicalexpensesupto40%ofthecompensation payable in settlement of a valid claim under the section or 20% of the sum insured, whichever is less.
Section XI A
It covers legal liability to domestic servants under Fatal Accidents Act, 1855/ Workmen’s Compensation Act, 1923.
Section XI B
It covers legal liability to pay compensation to third parties in accordance with Indian Law.
All the standard exclusions of the respective policies shall be applicable for the respective sections.
